Head distiller, Eduard Otter will personally choose 10 barrels from OCD’s private holdings. Each guest will receive a 7.5ml sample of each barrel and a curated tasting journey through some of OCD’s finest expressions. And if that doesn't tempt the ol' tastebuds, throughout the session, guests will enjoy house-made pizza from Bar 26, crafted to perfectly complement the whiskey experience.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
Exclusive Bottle Purchase Opportunity:
Guests will have the exclusive first opportunity to purchase a 700ml bottle of OCD whiskey at natural barrel strength, straight from the barrel, from any of the sampled vessels, available for $180 each.
Prepare your palates, because the liquid is coming out of the barrels in the high 60% ABV.
And that's not all - Guests who purchase a bottle will witness their whiskey being filled and hand-labeled right before their eyes, creating a personalised keepsake to take home. But here's where it gets hands-on: you'll seal the deal yourself at OCD's custom waxing station, dipping your bottle in warm wax to create that perfect, authentic seal. It's not just about buying whiskey – it's about crafting your own piece of Australian whisky lore.
Future Limited Release:
The remaining whiskey from each barrel will be cut to 52% ABV and made available for $180 per bottle.
Food Pairing:
Throughout the tasting session, guests will enjoy house-made pizza from Bar 26, crafted to perfectly complement the whiskey experience.
Post-Event Atmosphere:
After the official tasting, guests are invited to stay and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at Bar 26, where they can continue the day with cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and a full food menu.
